It seems that even a box of Boo Berry can be slapped with a "Special Edition" label these days — and this juiced-up version of 2004’s
Ninja Gaiden isn’t much of a marketing makeover. What remains, though, is the same blistering, bloody fu-fest that has you slicing through limbs as if your living room were a Brooklyn butcher shop. You’re a ninja; that’s what you do — slice, dice, and don’t think twice. What’s new: 50 arena-style missions, funky costumes, an all-important decreased-difficulty mode, and even some graphical pluses, from sword shimmers to splatters.
