Fans of the franchise will appreciate the verisimilitude to Dan Brown's opus. Frenetic gamers, however, are less likely to see any divine workings behind the digi-version. Animation is as unflattering as Tom Hanks's coif in the flick, the story line slows to hourglass pace, the voiceover actors sound asphyxiated, and all the fight sequences are soporific. Nonetheless, gameplay is redeemed by sheer virtue of the alphanumeric puzzles encountered by the heroes. And your system will perk up with the aptly atmospheric sound effects.
