Willie takes on 14 country standards he hasn’t gotten around to before, most of which (especially Kris Kristofferson’s “Sunday Mornin’ Comin’ Down”) suit him perfectly. The high-concept part is James Stroud’s production, which makes it all sound like it was recorded 45 years ago.
