This all-star affair neatly avoids the obvious (giving “Imagine” a well-earned rest) while including some personalized takes on Beatles/solo material, with Alejandro Escovedo taking the lyrics of “Help!” at face value and Patti Smith dancing barefoot through “Oh Yoko.”
Will I be able to buy the DVD-audio disc of songs mixed in surround sound as a stand alone product, or is it only available as part of this $150 set? I only want the surround mix of songs I already own on vinyl and cd.
