In 1968 director George Dunning, with a little help from his friends — 200 animators, George Martin in the role of orchestral composer and arranger, poet Roger McGough to think up dry Beatlesesque humor, and four actors with bad Liverpudlian accents — created Pepperland, a place where all you need is music, and that’s what you get from the actual Beatles in abundance. This frame-by-frame 4K restoration, ladies and gentlemen, was achieved without the aid of automated software!
