In this trippy sci-fi adventure comedy fantasy based on a French comic strip, Earth circa the 41st century — as visualized by director/playboy-cocksman Roger Vadim — is a whole lot sexier. When Barbarella (Jane Fonda) is sent after an evil mad scientist named Durand-Durand (Milo O’Shea) with the help of Dildano (David Hemmings). Barbarella AKA Barbarella: Queen of the Galaxy (1968) was shot by the great cinematographer Claude Renoir, who mainly focuses his camera at Fonda and Anita Pallenberg, two era icons so hot that Vadim was forced to undress them to the max in Sixties space-minis.
