Probably the least-expensive new full-size headphone intro’ed at RMAF was the $299 HE-300 from HiFiMan, which looked, sounded and felt like a much more expensive set of cans. The company also shows its new EF6 headphone amp, which does double-duty as an integrated amp when you’re tired of listening on your own. The $1,399 amp features a stepped volume control, three inputs and 20 watts per channel output (into the speakers, not the headphones).
