Westone is a brand more familiar to musicians than to audiophiles; its custom-molded in-ear monitors have been seen in the ears of many a touring act. The $449 ERC-2, which Westone says is the first four-driver universal-fit in-ear monitor, shows it’s paying more attention to the hot consumer headphone market. The ERC-2 twists into your ear much as a custom-molded earphone does, and my brief audition sounded pretty encouraging.
