Home theater’s always been a bit of a stretch for panel speakers. The problem is the center speaker. Turn the panel horizontally and it tends to disperse sound in a narrow vertical beam. MartinLogan’s been fighting this problem by putting a dome tweeter in the middle of its electrostatic center speakers, but the dome tweeter’s treble doesn’t sound like the electrostatic panel’s treble. The new $3,295-each StageX uses the same Folded Motion tweeter found in the company’s Motion series speakers, and according to MartinLogan, it’s tonal character matches that of the company’s panel speakers much better.
ML is also reworking its Motif on-wall speakers along the same lines, and at a lower price: the MotifX lists for $2,095 each.

Hi, Tony. You mean the Steinway-Lyngdorf system, right? Sorry - momentary lapse. The system demoed was about $480,000. But as our review of the S-series shows, they do have much less-expensive system that use essentially the same technology.
Very impressive, my question is what is the cost of the system? Thanks
