The SMS Sync by 50 struck us as perhaps the best rapper-endorsed headphone on the market. So I was happy to hear the new $119 Street Buds IEM has a similar tonal balance, with powerful but not stupidly loud bass, slightly emphasized mids and strong but not grating treble. It’s not an audiophile headphone, but it’s probably not a headphone an audiophile would hate, either.
