Remember a day long ago when desktop systems looked like miniature versions of big systems, with a couple of tiny box speakers and a little CD player/receiver? So does Onkyo. Its CS355 combines a 1990s desktop-system aesthetic with new capabilities such as Bluetooth wireless, a front USB input, and control from an iOS device through Onkyo’s own app. It’s available in black, white, or red for a reasonable $329 — and yep, it does play CDs.
