We were pretty thrilled with the sound of the Marley Exodus headphones in our celeb headphone shootout, but thought they were tortuously uncomfortable. At Unveiled, Marley showed me how they’d modified the Exodus so the earpieces can be moved for greater comfort. Yay! Other cool news from the company included the $60 Djembe powered speaker for iPods, smartphones, etc., and the $299 TTR over-ear headphone (it’s the silver-bodied ’phone in the pic). It was hard to gauge the TTR’s sound quality in the loud-as-hell environment of Unveiled, but it seemed to sound super-neutral and super-kick-ass (i.e., dynamic and distortion-free) when I played The Cult’s “King Contrary Man” from my Droid.
