Belkin billed the $199 Thunderstorm as a personal home theater. An app allows the speaker to access digital signal processing for simulated, adjustable surround sound. (You can see the app operating in this shot.) It sounded surprisingly loud and clear, even when competing with the high ambient noise of Unveiled. A version compatible with the old-style 30-pin iPad output jack is available now, and a Lightning jack-compatible version is planned for spring.
Am I the only one that thinks most of this looks like a bunch of junk?
