For me, a party in a box would be, like, a box full of hoppy double-IPAs, BBQ-flavored Wheat Thins, and a Quentin Tarantino Blu-ray. For the folks at Soul Electronics, it's this mega-tech boombox. The $999 Party in a Box incorporates an iPad/iPhone dock, Bluetooth, USB input, FM radio, a karaoke function with microphone input, and a couple of little analog power meters. Eight drivers -- dual 6.5-inch woofers, dual 3-inch mids, dual 1-inch tweeters, and dual front-firing 1.5-inch mid/tweets provide powerful sound. This was one device that was able to make itself heard over the din at Unveiled.

Am I the only one that thinks most of this looks like a bunch of junk?
