
Yurbuds showed an interesting $99 sports earbud that works as both a noise-isolation design and an "ambient-aware" design that lets environment sounds in. Little ridges on the noise-isolating tip (shown here) seal your ear canal, while the ambient-aware tip has no ridges, so some sound can sneak in. It's available in behind-ear and in-ear models, both of which employ triple-magnet drivers which the company said improve the sound quality. I abstained from the offered audition because lots of other people were trying them out and I didn't want to get ear cooties. A Bluetooth version is planned for June.
