Tim Burton reteams with…wait for it…Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter (no!) for this big screen adaptation of the cult classic 60s/70s soap opera. Depp stars as Barnabas Collins, a wealthy 18th-century merchant who is turned into a vampire after spurning a jealous witch (Eva Green) and is subsequently buried alive. He is unearthed in the 1970s and quickly has to adapt to life with his descendants (including Michelle Pfeiffer, Carter, and Chloe Moretz) in this campy comedy.
This has possibilities.
