Baraka
Widely acknowledged as the best-looking Blu-ray Disc ever, Baraka is mostly a collection of gorgeous scenes shot in exotic places. It was the first Blu-ray produced from an 8K (roughly 8,000 x 4,000 pixels) film transfer, and given the extraordinary detail in the image, it seems there's something to the 8K process even when it's folded down to 2K (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) for Blu-ray. Every chapter is dazzling, but one I use a lot when evaluating video displays is Chapter 3, which includes shots of an outdoor temple in which every detail of the décor can be seen on-screen (if your video display is any good).
