It would be nice to report that the spin on Keane's second CD — "They've made a darker, more serious album" — translated into anything besides "They've started sounding like Radiohead instead of Coldplay." Alas, the opening "Atlantic" is as blatant a Kid A knockoff as anyone has done. The rest is fairly more straightforward, and while it's slick and well produced, that's about all it is. The catchy breakup song "Put It Behind You" is at least a nice change from the post-success self-pity that fills most of the disc.
