    TiVo Guilt?

Come on. 'Fess up. How much stuff do you have backlogged on your TiVo? Me? I've got 27 shows in a folder called "Everest," 34 episodes of House, and a stack of movies that I record whenever HBO or Showtime has a free preview weekend. When it looked like my TiVo might be dying, I went into a panic when I realized how many movies I had stored, unwatched, for years.

    TiVo On The Go

TiVo has offered remote scheduling via cell phone for a while now, but it wasn't exactly a simple process, and it wasn't available to everyone. Until now. TiVo just launched TiVo Mobile, a free website optimized for the mobile phone market. It's easy to use from any mobile platform, carrier or browser.  Woohoo!

    Best Buy's TiVo HD/HDTV Bundle

There are ghosts in my machines. I'm convinced of it. Two weeks ago, my trusty 32-inch CRT TV started to fail. The picture would go green, then black and white, and then the death roll. Grrr.  Off to Best Buy to start researching what I wanted.

TiVo Checking into the Mondrian Hotel in South Beach

TiVo subscribers, how many times has this happened to you? You're watching TV, miss a line of dialogue, grab the remote for a replay, only to realize you're not home, and you don't have TiVo at the hotel you're checked into. Life sucks.

    TiVo, With Pepperoni and Anchovies

We think we have it pretty good here in the good old U.S. of A. We have Hannah Montana, a new puppy for the White House, and we've had TiVo for years.  Years and years. Folks in Australia might not seem so lucky.

    TiVo Joins Netflix

If you can possibly remember back that far, back in September 2004, it looked like TiVo and Netflix would strike a deal to stream movies to set-top boxes. It was a terrifically brilliant idea. But nothing ever came of it.

    iPhone's DVRPics for TiVo

So, you've got great photos stored on your iPhone. A whole series, perhaps. But, how well can you really see them on that tiny screen, no matter how good that screen is? Wouldn't it be great to see it quickly and easily on your TV?

    TiVo Wins, DISH Denied

Isn't patent law fascinating? TiVo has owned the patent for, well, TiVo'ing. Their ability to time-shift while recording a show was a patented process, and DISH's DVRs were violating that patent. The damages stretch back over two years. The first decision was appealed by DISH.

A Peek at TiVo's New Testing Interface

TiVo is looking at improving their user interface. Lord knows that with so many new features, they have to develop an easier way to let you find everything.

The new interface, that's in focus-group testing, has features such as ads on top of the main menu screen, perhaps a way to appease advertisers who feel TiVo lets users skip their high-dollar advertisements.

    TiVo'ing Your PC

There are so many ways to interface between your home entertainment system and your home computer. The lines between the two are disappearing, but one product seemed to be stuck firmly on the entertainment side. The DVR seemed to only exist in the entertainment console, unless you could work things out with MythTV, Beyond TV, or Windows Media Center.

    Until now.
