What year is it? Did George Orwell's prediction just get delayed? Seems like Sony is playing Big Brother. Sony Playstation 3 users just got an email from Sony stating that the terms of service have changed.

First noticeable change. Main account holders have to be over 15 years old. Under-15s can have a subaccount. Makes sense. No big whoop.

The latest new trend is hitting Sony's 4K projectors, proving that everything old is new again. 3D, once reserved for the truly campy sci-fi thrillers, is going to be available as an adapter for the SRX-R220 4K projector, maintaining the full height of the image, without the goofy glasses.

Sony's Bravia TVs in Japan have widgets. Whatza widget? You know, those handy little applications that range from an onscreen clock, news headlines, updated weather — you know, widgets! Of course, they have to use Bravia's Internet Link to access up-to-date information.

There's been lots of talk about wireless HD. Yeah, no HDMI cables have to run to your TV, but they all still need power, and that unsightly power cord running up the wall. (Yeah, yeah, I know you can run all the cables and power in the wall, but that ruins my point, so deal with it.)

Sony Ericsson isn't going to let Nokia get the upper-hand since announcing unlimited music downloads. Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones will be able to download music from more than just the Sony label. Reportedly, they're in discussion with all of the major music labels.
