How long have Integra’s A/V preamplifier/processors been around? Long enough to become a bit of an institution among home theater insiders. If you were assembling a serious system and demanded legitimately audio/videophile performance in every aspect but were unable or unwilling to pay the sometimes absurd prices asked for “seriously high-end” gear, an Integra pre/pro is what you bought.

Integra announces two 3D-capable A/V receivers

Integra has announced two new A/V receivers designed with 3D video in mind. The DTR-20.2 and DTR-30.2 use HDMI 1.4a to let 3D video signals pass through from a 3D-capable DVD or Blu-ray Disc player to a 3D-capable HDTV.

Integra Customizing HD

Integra is taking its position as a custom installation specialist seriously. Their previous A/V receiver (DTR-5.8) was among the first to offer HDMI v1.3a, and now the new DTR-5.9 takes that to the next level.

The DTR-5.9 has four HDMI v1.3a inputs with 1080i upscaling from standard def. According to Integra, it has improved video scaling capabilities.
