We're heading into Back to the Future Part 2 territory 5 years early.

A few days ago, ThinkGeek posted a new item that immediately caught my eye.

3D marches on, with a notable advance in LED display technology.

Spectre's new Chrome HDTVs are shiny. That's the biggest thing that can be said about them. Shiny. Chrome. Blinged out. Reflective.

Besides their shininess, the Chrome screens are basically just relatively small HDTVs (or relatively large monitors).

Toshiba has just unveiled CELL TV, a new image processing engine the company claims is 143 times more powerful than the engines found in previous models.

At the heart of the CELL TV is the Cell Broadband Engine, the same processor used by the Playstation 3.
