Brent,

You give up too easily. I own several recumbent bikes, including two trikes, and the key to portable, public sound is the cargo rack. I use a $50 battery-powered T-amp and an inexpensive outdoor speaker to give me touring tunes, though most of the time I just use open/single earbuds for simplicity. For bigger sound during dry weather, a larger, high-effecieny Pro-Audio style speaker or two will create quite the mobile party. This is great for 4th of July parades.

Use a little ingenuity and you'll have a tricked-out party trike yet.

Oh, it's not that I gave up! I just wanted to use a test platform that the average cyclist could relate to.

I plan to try the NB-200 on my Tour Easy. Should fit perfectly and the fairing will probably have a positive acoustical effect.

Good to know we have at least one "bent" reader!

Good to know we have a "bent" writer. Miles of smiles to ya.
