Even with so many new headphones, Bluetooth speakers, and other new personal/portable audio products debuting at last week's CES, there was still plenty of room for new introductions in traditional audio products. In fact, the Venetian Hotel was full of 'em, with exhibits spanning five floors plus some of the convention space downstairs.
With my schedule so packed full of appointments to see the latest personal audio products, I couldn't check out every audio room at the Venetian, or even half of them—much less the exhibits over at T.H.E. Show at the Flamingo Hilton. I know I missed the demo of the final shipping version of Revel's updated Performa line, as well as the debut of Magico's $16,800 SCC center speaker.
Here's a couple of photo galleries showcasing the best products and demos I did manage to catch. Some of these are sure to show up in future issues of Sound+Vision—in fact, I'm told a couple are already on their way.
It's that time again, and S+V's staff and contributors are on site in Las Vegas to bring you the latest and greatest in entertainment tech, from the country's biggest consumer electronics show.
