The annual Consumer Electronics Show, America's biggest tech bash, kicked off tonight with CES Unveiled, an event that answers the question "How many journalists can one possibly pack into a convention center ballroom?" (Answer: a zillion.)
Unveiled is a pre-event where manufacturers set up little 10-by-10-foot booths and show a few key new products. Because there's so little space to show anything, Unveiled usually attracts lots of companies selling headphones, Bluetooth speakers, and other personal audio gear. It's not much of a demo space 'cause it's loud as all hell in there (and just about as hot), but it's a great way to see a lot of cool stuff in just a couple of hours.
Here's a photo roundup of the coolest new stuff I saw at tonight's Unveiled, which took place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
It's that time again, and S+V's staff and contributors are on site in Las Vegas to bring you the latest and greatest in entertainment tech, from the country's biggest consumer electronics show.
