The flat cables included with the Pro 500 can be connected to either earpiece, and the unused jack can be used to "daisy chain" another set of headphones.

Thanks Brent for this review. I want something with good base but not at the expense of highs and mids. I hadn't seen this headphone before. I thought I had narrowed it down to the Beats Pro, but now you've thrown a wrench in that! (Really...thanks though.) I don't want to have to purchase another pair of expensive headphones for a while. My trusty go-to phones right now are Sony MDR-V6's...which are awesome, don't get me wrong. I'm just itching for a new pair I guess.
