No worries he'll be home for good at Christmas. With all those distractions he'll forget about studying and be flunking out. I'll wait to hear about it on the HS show.

jmac, look, Jackson has evolved. What do you do for a living?

Gary you do understand he is going to college to start his life path on the career of his choice? All this electrical gear of PS3's or tvs are nothing more than a distraction to keep him from studying and interacting with other students to define where exactly they want to end up in life. Yes the children of today have grown into the advanced technology age and feel they cannot do without these items or life would be miserable. Going to college nowadays does not mean when he walks out with a degree he will walk right into a job. Absolutely there is time for entertainment during the breaks but he should be utilizing his time in the library, eyes behind a book, engaging with other students and molding himself to what he wants to become in society. The first few years of those basic classes lay the groundwork of what will be needed for future advanced classes.

I teach college at night to students who did just that during college, partying or too much entertainment and now have to work in a menial job earning a degree to further their life. I'm not trying to sound condescending or an a-s, but all this gear is unneeded and unnecessary and his only form of entertainment should be the tv in the lounge only when he's not writing papers or studying for tests.

Hopefully Jackson is at a college that will teach him the difference between "bring" and "take". Obviously Adelphi didn't find it necessary to impart that to you Gary.
