-except for the nexus 7 which has a better OS (more recent, un-crippled, and able to access the full google play suite). And a GPS.

@ eugovector I think Geoff's point is that the apps access is far less important than easy content access, and that the Fire has the edge with Amazon's huge library on that count (Apple having the larger form factor territory to itself with their similarly broad offerings via the iPad).

Isnt this a little confusing...the original fire and the fire HD have the same form factor i.e. 7 inch.
