Another CES over. Trucks loaded, booths demolished, spaces cleared to make room for the next trade show.
For many, there’s more to CES than the work and the business, far more going on behind the scenes, between the people, and surrounding the big show. For me it starts with the trip to CES itself: a four-hour, in-car catharsis of flowing tarmac and thunderous music. The building excitement of meeting friends not seen in months, and seen again for many more.
This isn’t your normal CES roundup. This isn’t about gear. This is about CES as event. An event that simultaneously caps off the stressful holidays, and celebrates the promise of a new year.
And it begins with a road.
Brent Butterworth and Geoff Morrison combine their years of gear testing and knowledge in one überblog of irreverence and techiness.
