Two postscripts:
1) The angle of the tweeter to the woofers' common axis is actually closer to 30 degrees, not 45 degrees.
2) You don't have to use a computer to do the measurements for setting the subwoofer's parametric EQ. You can use an RTA app for a cell phone, or even an SPL meter with test tones. But given how inexpensive it can be to do the measurements on a laptop, it's by far the best way because it's the most accurate and also a lot quicker than using test tones.

I had never heard of these guys until this post. Is there any chance their other equipment might get reviewed here, specifically any of the towers and maybe the DAC or pre-amp?

Also, have you guys ever thought about doing some sort of a baseline home theater selection guide at multiple levels. Something like entry, mid, and high end that is updated as better equipment is reviewed?

It seems like when using the speakers vertically the tweeters should be on the outside. This allows for an attempt at time aligning the tweeter and midrange in the sweet spot between the speakers.

Having the tweeter just a little further away compensates for the voice coil of the mid-woofer being a couple of inches behind the voice coil of the tweeter.
