Amoeba's always been one of my first (and multiple!) stops whenever I'm in LA, as I've blogged and Tweeted about here and there. I usually bring a few vinyl gems back East with me, having figured out how to carefully stow them underneath the seat in front of me in my black Amoeba bag (well, double bag, I should say, for proper "reinforcement"). Those of you who attend CE industry trade shows and/or concerts I'm reviewing are likely to see me walking around with said bag combo over my shoulder.

BTW #1: I have a few of those Amoeba turntable mats at home — and that very same Pro-Ject 'table here in my office!

BTW #2: Nice ZZ album you have in your hands there, Dr. Geoff. You should pick up the 180g version...

ZZ Top was my first concert, with George Thorogood opening. I think it was at the Worcester Centrum.
