Yep - agreed.

The other thing is, sat. is more like 'real radio' than the Pandoras/Spotifys/MOGs. I like the feeling of listening to something another human being has picked.

Unfortunately, sound quality is getting worse. I'm not expecting miracles, but some of the channels are so bandwidth-challenged they're hard to listen to, even on my VW Beetle's stock system. (RealJazz is the worst, which is unfortunate because I love the channel otherwise.)

If we can't have a modestly healthy, diverse range of a.m. and f.m. channels, this is the next best thing.

One more thing I forgot to add.

I think that's really important. An infinite playlist is the paradox of choice. It can be overwhelming and - at least with me - discourage listening.
