Seems like Showtime's cornered the market on heartbreaking comedy with dark themes and strong female leads, and in collaboration with Lionsgate we're giving away three pairs of DVDs, and a pair of Blu-ray discs, representing some of the best of what's on TV today — Season Three of Nurse Jackie, and Season Seven of Weeds.
Nurse Jackie, Showtime’s award-winning original series about a drug-addicted nurse in a New York City emergency room, finds Edie Falco continuing to balance her responsibilites with her addiction. The audio commentaries feature Falco and additional cast and crew, including show creators Liz Brixius and Linda Wallem. Season Seven of Weeds catches up with pot-dealing suburban mom Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker), now living in a New York City halfway house (after three years in prison) as season seven of Showtime’s Weeds begins. Nancy fights her sister Jill (Jennifer Jason Leigh) for custody of her youngest son and competes with older son Silas (Hunter Parrish) for pot-dealing territory in New York.
As usual, all you'll have to do to qualify to win is share your thoughts with us. This week's topic: How do you view epsiodic TV these days? Do you watch it live? Rent or buy on DVD or Blu-ray? Stream via Hulu? Let us know how you're consuming your TV content and qualify to win.
The winners will be chosen randomly from among those who leave on-topic comments. Three lucky readers will receive a pair of DVDs; one will receive a pair of Blu-ray discs. Say what you like — even dismiss the idea of TV altogether. We're OK with that. You will have to register, however — no anonymous commenters, we need a valid e-mail contact address to inform you of your win. We'll take entries until midnight (Eastern Time), on Wednesday, February 29nd, and notify the winner via e-mail by Friday, March 2nd.
Best of luck!

TiVo. later that night or in the next couple of days. Then occasionally buy a season on DVD, now BluRay
Usually watch on DVR or on-demand. If watching live, we would record it for a bit to allow us to fast forward through the commercials. Rarely watch some truly live. Netflix for older seasons.
we always Tivo episodes and watch them when I get a few
Relevant Post. Only pay for internet, watch everything via Netflix and Hulu and Blu-ray disc.
I record and watch when I can
We watch most live or on DVR. If we learn about something good that we have missed, we will go and buy the series on Blu Ray.
I love nurse jackie
Can't get these, I don't have the premium channel. I did watch Weeds a couple of times as a freebie. I did enjoy it. So I hope I win. Cannot stream as the only internet access where I live is so-called high-speed Wild Blue satellite.
DVR - Weeds is the best!
Cable has gotten so expensive that I have given up on live TV. Now I watch on network websites, with my Netflix streaming service or on a free site like hulu.com
I love the covers, especially Nurse Jackie's... INITOWINIT... ;-)
Nurse Jackie is favored over Weeds. We have a Blu-Ray player.
I watch my favorite shows live, and sometimes purchase DVD's of some shows.
Great shows. Falco is great.
I love love love Jennifer Jason Leigh since Fast Times at Ridgemont High love her
I usually watch on Netflix or DVR, rarely watch live anymore
My husband and I have watched both shows and really enjoy them. It would be nice to watch with out any commercials. Thanks for the contest.
great original series that would never happen on a standard TV network I would love to watch it in HD bluray!
I am old school. I still use a VCR.
