Sound quality is first and foremost, but comfort is also important. Noise cancellation is also a consideration.

I like accurate and balanced sound. A comfortable fit is also important. The design tool looks to be alot of fun!

Since the 1970's i've used AKG 240 headphones. Purchased them from Big Bird Sound in North Vancouver Canada. Hve always loved the warmth and richness they reproduce from my vinyl. I was a broadcaster for over 2 decades and the AKG did a masterful job of voice reproduction too. Winning a pair of Fanny Wang 3001 headphones would be a wonderfully great way to experience how modern technology stacks up against the old standard.
Thank you & cheers from the Great White North!

Sound quality and Comfort, above all else. It doesn't matter how its attained, active/passive electronics, materials used, microphones, it has to sound good, and be wearable without giving you a headache! You can't have one without the other. Even if it sounds awesome, if its a pain to wear, that defeats the pleasure factor. A close third would be having them called Fanny Wangs. Beats by Fanny! unfortunately that is taken. "Keep your hands off my Fanny Wangs!"

I have been searching for the perfect headphones for years, deep bass, clean highs, comfortable fit and now that I have a couple of kids, NOISE CANCELATION, LOL

#1 for me is sound - they have to sound good. I do not need thumping bass, but prefer a clear, articulate sound. Second is comfort, I fly nearly every week and often sleep on the plane, so I need something that's not going to hurt over a long period of time. Noice cancellation is nice, but most great headphones block out enough sound for me. After that comes style. When I travel for work, I often get upgraded because of my status (can't afford to fly up there personally). Almost every person in first class wears the Bose QC15, I'd like to stand out by rocking some Wangs!

Sound quality is my main consideration, but comfort ranks high, too. I also take into account the availability of spare parts. Being able to replace worn ear pads or a broken wire adds to the value for me. Appearance ranks lower for me, but if you can get all the features above in a great looking package, all the better.

Sound is the most important thing, but a close second would be comfort. I like the idea of being able to customize the headphones so they are just for me, but they need to sound good and not be uncomfortable if I wear them for a long time.

Thanks!

I would like a pair of noise-cancelling headphones so I can leave my Sennheiser 598's at home when I travel. I have a friend who has a pair of Fanny Wang's and he's always been super happy with them.

GOOD SOUND THAT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD IS THE MOST IMPORTANT.
