The end of the first week of January is upon us, and it's high time to make good on those promises you made to yourself. But first things first — you can let that exercise program slide for a few more weeks, but you need to learn how to shred. Just picked up the guitar for the first time? Or are you finally carving out a few extra minutes this year to sharpen your chops? Raw Talent Guitar's instructional software (which we looked at earlier this week) may well be ablet to help you out, whatever your particular guitaristic situation. And even better, the company's given us a copy of the software/hardware package to give away to one lucky reader.
As with our previous giveaways, all we ask from you in order for you to qualify is a little input. Let us know if you'd like to see more musical instrument industry coverage from us, and what kind. Tools like RTG aimed at those learning an instrument? Instrument reviews? Apps? Hardware and software synthesizers? DAW packages? Microphones and recording devices? More interviews focusing on instrumentalists? There's a whole world out there that we could pay at least occasional attention to, but should we? And how much attention?
Please share your thoughts, and you could soon be playing along to Padraig O'Kane's lessons, under the watchful eye of RTG's evaluator.
The winner will be chosen randomly from among those who leave on-topic comments below (you'll have to register — no anonymous commenters, we need a valid e-mail contact address to inform you of your win), so don't be afraid to speak your mind. We'll take entries until midnight (Eastern Time), on January 13th, and notify the winner via e-mail on Monday, January 16th. Good luck!
