Is it time to upgrade?

I have a Pioneer Elite Kuro set... and as time has passed I've wondered if the "old" Kuros still have superior picture quality versus the new products in market today. There's always someone arguing one way or another; how about some commentary from the experts at Sound and Vision?

I'm all for upgrading if there's a benefit; it you guys think the Kuro still reigns supreme, I'll sit tight as a happy camper.

Just looking for some guidance!

If the review was purely based on the Samsung Tv, it should get close to perfect marks. It has everything you would want in a good plasma TV. However, the fact that the remote control does not have inner lighting spoils things just a little. It is a small irritation that should be easy to overlook.

I have a friend who is thinking of getting this and putting it in his studio, he runs an independent record label, and I was telling him this would definitely distract him from his work whole day long. Your review just proved it.

I was thinking about buying this TV but I was not sure if I should go with the plasma or LED. My friends are saying LED, but after reading this review I will definitely got ahead and buy it.
