Onkyo is following thr 70's and 80's misstakes in 2012!
For $2.5K on a 80W power amp. they could do both XLR and RCA for stereo, and not only XLR
for mono.
Not to say, that 80W per $2.5K is not a bargin. To become a Hi-End producer member, they need
to sale quality and quantity for the $. As my two commente would sugest, they missed both.
Look at SANSUI at the 70's, they missed the concept of rear conections (it's on the side!) and
speakers terminals were low cost clamps. Some of the others did so too.
It will take them more of a product to make someone spend a leg and an arm for an 80W/Ch.
power amp, with one XLR input, and a brand name of a mediocare Japanese brend.
