I have been a HUGE King Crimson fan since 1981 and have many variations of all of their albums.
These new 40th Anniversary Surround mixes are absolutely Spectacular !
....There are more than just the 2 mentioned here, there is also: Red, In the court of the Crimson King, Lizard, Islands, In the wake of Poseidon, and also Scarcity of Miracles. All are the Ultimate in Sound. .. .. . each one is a different flavor and adventure in Audio.
If you are in to the 5.1's I also suggest the 'Brick' Box sets from Talking Heads, Genesis, Doors, and Bjork. ............and................. for the ultimate-Ultimate, I suggest The Immersion Surround Box sets from Pink Floyd: 'Dark Side of the Moon' and 'Wish you were Here' .. .. .. and the latest Due in about a month... .. .. 'The Wall'. Can't wait !!!!!!!!!!!!
These music corpses have been REBORN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! amen, baby.

Will these albums be released on Blu Ray?

The Crimsons have both CD and DVD-A, The Pink Floyd Immersion sets have Blu-Ray Audio discs in them and I believe are available separately on SACD.

I dont have a DVD audio player. I think they should release the King Crimson surround albums on blu ray. More people have blu ray players.
