Apple is gearing up for its Worldwide Developers' Conference next month, and the rumors are already flying about what's going to be announced. High on the list is a new Apple TV, which Engadget is reporting will boast some impressive features and an even more impressive price.
According to Engadget, the soon-to-be-announced Apple TV will be based on the iPhone 4, with the same ARM A4 processor, 16 GB of flash storage, and iPhone OS. It will be smaller and simpler than the current Apple TV, and will be able to output 1080p video. Most importantly, Engadget says that the new Apple TV will retail for only $99. We'll see in a few weeks.
