Don Coscorelli’s bizzaro tale of a freakish mausoleum run by “The Tall Man” and his army of evil anti-Jawas is often unfairly dismissed in favor of more well-known late-70s horror offerings like Halloween – but this year, you can undo that wrong. The fact that you can get a copy of Phantasm packaged in a replica of the Tall Man’s signature weapon – a silver sphere with blades that burrow into victims’ foreheads – makes it library worthy in every sense of the word. Just don’t serve any party appetizers that need mustard – trust us.
