Redbox rental kiosks are finally going to start seeing Blu. Redbox president Mitch Lowe announced that he plans to see Blu-ray Discs in Redbox kiosks within the next few months, to the tune of $1.50 each. The $0.50 Blu-ray premium isn't unreasonable; Netflix's surcharge for Blu-ray rentals is less expensive than an extra $0.50 per disc, but it's still a reasonable rate compared to beleaguered Blockbuster's rates.
