Starting in October, you'll finally be able to watch Blu-ray 3D discs on your PS3, thanks to an upcoming firmware update announced by Sony.
Titles on Blu-ray 3D have been few and far between, but considering the increasing popularity of 3D theatrical movies and James Cameron's prediction a few months ago that Avatar will finally see a Blu-ray 3D release by November, the timing for the firmware update is fortuitous.
