Panasonic's really getting behind the 3D craze. The company has just opened its first 3D Blu-ray Disc authoring facility.
The Blu-ray 3D Advanced Authoring Center is the newest addition to the Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory, and contains the equipment necessary for image processing, programming, authoring, and certifying 3D-capable Blu-ray Discs. The facility will be ready to produce 3D Blu-ray Discs as early as this spring.
