NO WIRES The Philips Streamium music system takes all the complexity - and cables - out of multiroom audio through the wireless magic of Wi-Fi (802.11g). As soon as you turn on the WACS700 main base (left) and its satellite, they automatically find each other - no pairing, seeking, or inputting required. The system supports up to five satellites ($299 each; $199 without speakers).
AIR TRAFFIC Although the Streamium will rip your CDs to its 40-gigabyte hard disk, you can get your PC in on the game, too, sending over your already-ripped tunes via the Ethernet connection. Sorry, though - no iTunes support.
