MUSIC REVIEW: Norah Jones

Not Too Late

Norah Jones protests to USA Today: "I can see why someone might have thought I was a certain way from listening to my first record and looking at the cover picture. It's very soft. It's sweet. [But] I'm kind of salty."

Norah Jones protests to Entertainment Weekly: "You listen to my first album, and you get a perception of me: very romantic, melancholy, sort of wispy. It bothered me for a long time, because that's never been my personality. [My music] is mellow and kind of sweet, but I'm kind of salty."

Norah Jones protests to The New York Times: "They expect me to be very girly, very romantic, very melancholy, and I'm not any of those things."

Methinks the lady doth protest too much! Or, shifting sources from Gertrude to Doolittle: Please don't "expl'ine." Show me!
