Jane's Addiction is back in action, with a brand-new album on the way and a tour in progress. The '90s icons, with original members Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, and Stephen Perkins (Chris Chaney is original bassist and perennial reunion holdout Eric Avery), brought their act — including a clutch of new tunes and a revue of bondage dancers — to NYC's Terminal 5 last night, where S+V resident photographer Dan Bracaglia caught up with the band.
The show was co-presented by LG and YouTube — which meant that the event was streamed live, with HD clips already available, and an audience-shot 3D documentary (filmed on LG Thrill 3D phones, naturally) is in the works.
The Great Escape Artist, co-produced by Cave In and Interpol knobsman Rich Costey and TV on the Radio mastermind Dave Sitek (who also holds down the bass chair), will be available September 27th.
