I don't use any kind of multiroom system. If I want music in another part of my house its usually headphones and my smartphone, or if I cant find my headphones yet again Ill just lug my laptop round.

default_avatar.png

I currently use 2 different digital playback systems for my media

System 1 - Dune players - Used for playback of most formats except for MLP, DSD, ALAC and online content

System 2 - Home Theater PC - Used for playback of all formats and home automation hub

Media Server (computer) - Storage of all media, media gathering, metadata preparation, over the air broadcast recording, satellite TV recording, media backup, security cam recording

The whole system is TCP/IP controlled and place-shifted

I could really use a Sonos system to easily extend my audio to other rooms that are not currently serviced.

We currently use a few networked services. They mainly consist of a a couple of AppleTV's, PS3, Networked Receivers, "Smart" TV's, and of course our iPad/iPhones for Airplay/Home Sharing.

We have a our iMac running Plex or iTunes, which feeds the Apple TV's or the Smart TV's and Receivers. And the I have an old Powerbook that is always up and running to handle the grunt of the work as well. Media is on External Hard Drives, and backup'd routinely. Everything is CAT 6'd where possible, wifi if not.

Each piece of our setup has it's limitations, of course. But, we haven't had the chance to dig into the Sonos products yet, although I would love too.

Several of my friends have been raving about Sonos to me for awhile now, but so far my multi-room solution has been limited to airplay streaming through apple TV. Would love to take the next step

Recently downsized to a smaller condo, given the layout, I do not see the need although the want may yet win out.

Love Sonos products and would like to have this!

default_avatar.png

I don't currently use a networked music playback system. It will be at least six months away.

default_avatar.png

I use a Logitech squeezebox radio to listen to out of town radio stations and sirius radio streaming.

default_avatar.png

I use a squeezebox with an outboard DAC. It's really, really good...but still not quite CD quality. I run the CD digital through the same DAC. I would love to try the Sonos.

default_avatar.png

I honestly have no idea how this stuff works, but I'd like to learn!

default_avatar.png

I currently use several different network playback options:
1) I have a Logitech Squeezebox in my bedroom and it plays online radios plus it connects to my PC and can play the music I have there
2) my receiver has network capabilities and also plays online ratios.
3) I also use the apps on my blu-ray player to listen to Pandora radio.

I recently have discovered Subsonic - it is an app for smartphones which can stream music from a computer to your phone regardless of where you are in the world. It works quite well and as long as you do not have data plan issues you can listen to GB of music that you have stored at home where ever you are.

default_avatar.png

I love my Sonos system. Would love to have Sonos in every room of my home.

default_avatar.png

I saw a demonstration of this Sonos item and was amazed at it's clarity, scope and attractiveness. It seems to be a quality product like the rest of their line. Would love to add this to my existing gear.

default_avatar.png

I currently stream via Airplay thru my Apple TV .... but would love to have this!!

default_avatar.png

I just use what itunes gives me, since I simply need playback in the room I'm working in. "Roaming's" not involved.

Currently using Apple TV and Airplay in the house. Not the best setup in the world, but it works. Wouldn't mind an upgrade - both the house and the sound system...

default_avatar.png

I stream music through a variety of different methods. I have archived a large portion of my music collection onto networked harddrives, which I access though a number of different computers, handheld players, tablets and various 3rd party software applications. Unfortunately, my receiver is not networked which means I am not utilizing my best system(s) for playback.

default_avatar.png

I would love to have this in the Kitchen !
... that way I can ROCK when I ROLL the dough

It's Awesome, would love to give it a try

default_avatar.png

With some hesitancy, I will say that my current means of playing my computer (or iPod) based audio is through a very long cable that runs out of my computers headphone jack directly to my A/V Receiver. Not only is this setup quite visibly shocking (a very long gray colored cable running over 20 feet across walls and the ceiling), but I am certain that I'm losing a great deal of fidelity ... both very negative aspects.

I would love to have this Sonos bundle to realize the massive improvements that are readily available with today's amazing technology...oh yeah, and it will certainly look much nicer to boot.

Thanks for this opportunity :)

default_avatar.png

I use iTunes running from an iMac and 5 airtunes receivers throughout the house.

default_avatar.png

I can stream music and video from my PC. The video streaming is rarely used but occasionally I'll listen to music using a PS3 or smart TV.

default_avatar.png

I wish my family would appreciate having music all around the house, but they do not...yet. Sine I am in my home office most of the day, I just settle for having a nice system in the office. Nobody really listens to music in other parts of the house...they are always glued to the TV instead.

Maybe I just happen to like my music choices, and they do not?

So, I'd like to try to put a networked system in...maybe just settle for using it myself in one room to start.

default_avatar.png

I would love it my office.

default_avatar.png

This would be perfect for when I am doing things around the house on weekends. I would love not having to lug my laptop from room to room.

default_avatar.png

I have an ipod which is wirelessly connected to the internet, using sirius to play over a dock. I do not have a networked receiver hooked up to my stereo system. I also use splashtop to remotely access my computer's music files on the Blackberry Playbook. If I want to seriously sit down and listen to music, I put a CD in to the stereo system and play it through my set of Paradigm Reference Studio 100s.

default_avatar.png

I don't have anything yet, but was thinking of getting the sonos

default_avatar.png

I have been using JRiver media center

default_avatar.png

This would be a great gift for my wife. She has been looking for one of these

default_avatar.png

I usually put everything on my iTunes library and on a networked drive so that I can log in with my computer and tablet,

default_avatar.png

I tried a lot of different solutions from an early Roku Soundbridge to an Apple TV. Right now, my digital collection is on an always on Mac Mini, I have a hardwired Sonos (one of my favorite things!), and an Apple TV. The Apple TV is good but only the Sonos really works the way this type of thing should work. Can't imagine ever going back to not having networked audio.

default_avatar.png

I don't have a network system but I plan to sometime in the future.
I just use Jambox bluetooth speaker to laptop and tablet.

default_avatar.png

Alright here goes. I usually don't enter these types of drawings, but this year is different.
I am taking care of a 101 year old father that is now pretty much bedridden. His hearing and sight are both failing rapidly and this is most likely the last Christmas. I have a good collection of Christmas music that I listen too via Itunes. But since he really can not hear all that well, it would be great to have the sonos system so that he could actually hear the music this holiday season.
Anyway, good luck to all who enter and Merry Christmas to all!

default_avatar.png

My sister just got one of these and loves it (she even paid for express shipping to get it). Now I want one too! It sounds great and it's the perfect size. (I don't have room for a full-fledged stereo anymore.)

default_avatar.png

I heard the Sonos system the other night this is an awesome system great sound quality would love to have one

default_avatar.png

I have a sonos system with a couple of ZP-120's and a S5. I was thinking of getting a couple of Play 3's and the Sonos Sub. I like the system, except for the fact that I always have problems connecting to the music folder on my apple time capsule. I can connect to my macbook pro when it is on, but there is always a problem with the time capsule.

default_avatar.png

Haven't yet upgraded but have been eyeing solutions lately. Not looking for anything too elaborate, just something versatile and scalable enough to work in a house or an apartment without breaking the bank. Was pondering airplay options but this seems to have more bang for the buck.

default_avatar.png

I just have itunes on my pcs - with a flash drive as backup.

default_avatar.png

I would like to try the Sonos system to stream music to remote sections of my home. I currently don't stream any music - I usually just turn up my sound system loud enough to be heard in another room.

default_avatar.png

My music is shared over a network on my HTPC.

default_avatar.png

Presently I am still fairly old school with listening to my music at home. I still have a cassette to cassette hooked up to my receiver (which is about 10+ yrs old). I also use a separate speaker system for my laptop. For the holidays I plan to get myself Apple TV to hook my MacBook Pro up to my stereo. This Sonos system - starter - , however...

Currently I stream to a Squeezebox Boom in my bedroom from iTunes in my computer room. By syncing the Squeeze player in the computer with the Squeezebox and turning up the volume to 11, I achieve whole-house audio. Sonos may be a better solution.

default_avatar.png

I currently do not use some sort of networked music playback system in my home. My home is a smallish NYC apartment so if I play music at a certain volume then you can hear it in any room. If I bought a house I think the ZONE 2 on my A/V receiver would be enough for me.

default_avatar.png

yes I have a networked media server that links my Mac, HDTV and audio system

default_avatar.png

I have all my media on a network server and then use either my phone or tablet and a bluetooth speaker to listen all over the house.

default_avatar.png

been wanting to stream all my tunes over a network and this would be a good start!

default_avatar.png

We don't currently have a networked music system, but I have been wanting to set one up. I've been reading about them and the Sonos systems sounds like a good solution. Thanks for the chance to win

default_avatar.png

I just use a MYINE Ira wifi internet radio to listen to BBC world service, works pretty well.

default_avatar.png

Do you currently use some sort of networked music playback system in your home? And if not, do you plan on installing such a system in the future?
Nope - as none of the vital pieces of my music library reside on the 'puter. Sure, I've got a few gigs of mp3s, but all free pieces of oddball stuff: samplers, free tracks - curiosities from the Web for which I've no great need to play away from the PC. The kids, of course, have much more widely used digital music collections, and would much more likely benefit from the Sonos package.

default_avatar.png

I use apple air play with mt apple tv to my new HD-theater-SB-3 Klipsch sound bar in our living room.
