GAME REVIEW: Stubbs the Zombie

Aspyr (Xbox)
Game ••••
Graphics/Sound •••½

There are two sides to every slaughter. Meet Stubbs, your average zombie businessman who's looking for excitement in the 1950s-era futureland that is Punchbowl City. His hobbies include feasting on human noggins, bowling his own head - and rocking out to modern covers of old hits, such as the Flaming Lips doing "If I Only Had a Brain." (You can even get 13 of those covers on a separate CD from Shout! Factory.) Nothing earth-rattling, but this beat-'em-up definitely flips the script on a weak-pulsed genre.
