In case you missed Jessica Alba's latest photo shoot for Maxim magazine, Into the Blue makes sure you have plenty of chances to watch her frolic around in a bikini. Director John Stockwell (Blue Crush) throws in the temporary diversions of drug dealers, sharks, and a plot about a sunken ship, but this film is all about the visuals. The tropical scenery looks spectacular, with gorgeous blues of sea and sky and richly colored sunlit beaches. The Dolby Digital 5.1 sound is immersive in the subtle underwater scenes, not to mention the speaker-blowing thunderstorm. Stockwell provides a commentary, and you also get 10 disposable deleted scenes, a featurette, and screen tests. [PG-13] English, Dolby Digital 5.1; French, Dolby Surround; letterboxed (2.35:1) and anamorphic widescreen; dual layer.
