Wouldn't you love to be able to see into the future? To be able to predict what the stock market will do tomorrow, who will win the next Superbowl, or just to see when the best time to buy a TV might be?
The folks at Dealnews (that's a hint right there) have news about when they think the deals will hit HDTVs and Blu-ray.
Looking into their crystal ball they say . . .
Off-brand HDTVs will see severe price cuts on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Have your heart set on a name brand? Three weeks before Christmas is the magic time for those.
Another prediction: LCD will remain higher than plasma, but will follow the same price trends — low on Black Friday, name brands cutting right before Christmas.
Looking deeper into their crystal ball, Dealnews is also predicting we'll see a Blu-ray player for $149, and Blu-ray movies for $9.99. Actually, they're predicting Blu-ray titles we actually want to see for $9.99. If they know what movies I actually want to see, their crystal ball is definitely delivering high definition predictions. —Leslie Shapiro
